Legal

Crowdmuse is a DAO made up of entrepreneurs, engineers, and researchers, each with 10+ years of experience across climate tech, sustainable fashion, regenerative agriculture, circular products, and many more domains. We have together with a deep curiosity for systems design, smart contracts, tokenomics, and more generally building the best version of a web3-enabled future.

Crowdmuse will be operated as a DAO, incorporated as a BV (equivalent to an LLC) held by a Stichting Administratiekantoor ‘STAK’ (equivalent to a foundation) in the Netherlands. Crowdmuse STAK Foundation holds all of the shares of Crowdmuse BV and issues tokens representing economic ownership while retaining legal ownership to the directors (i.e. stewards). This legal wrapper protects Crowdmuse DAO contributors and community from liability, while fractionalizing economic ownership and royalties without KYC requirements.
