  1. Crowdmuse Protocol v1

Summary

The next iteration of the creator economy is unfolding before our eyes. The blockchain provides a distributed order book for skills and services that unlocks multiple opportunities:

  • Consumers are able to support their favorite artists directly and gain access to exclusive member experiences through tokenized community gating;

  • Creators are able to plug their art into a network of brands and communities to monetize their talent while retaining IP rights;

  • Communities are able to tap into a composable library of designs and products to cater to the dynamic needs of their members.

We are building a coordination marketplace that helps creators to collaborate on multiplayer products that monetize their passion while retaining ownership over their creations.

Currently there are three primitives that make up the Crowdmuse Protocol v1 built on Polygon:

Multi-player Product NFTs

Value splits and revenue sharing is built into the multiplayer product NFT contract to distribute value transparently back to the creators behind each garment, while protecting creative assets with token gated access control (using Guild and Lit).

Coordination Marketplace

Crowdfunding storefront with pre-order functionality to coordinate the co-creation of products that meet manufacturing minimums without upfront production costs.

Creator Profiles

Creator portfolio and licensing with decentralized identities (using Lens and Ceramic) to showcase their creative assets as on-chain artifacts with licensing, co-creation, and revenue management features.

These primitives enable a coordination marketplace where composable creator IP can be licensed to provide the creator a share of the revenue based on usage, and supplier capacity can be optimized for batched, made-to-order production.
