# How to create a profile

Creators and Brands can create profiles, which can serve as a portfolio or shopfront to sell products and creator asset licenses.

To create a profile, first sign in with your email or wallet, and then choose "Set up profile" by clicking the top right wallet icon.

In the Set up your profile view, you can add your profile picture, user name, details, social links, and skills.

After clicking set up, the top right wallet icon should update with your picture and username, where you can navigate to your profile.

Your profile will display your details, along with any products you have created or collected. If you don't see any products, you can get started by collecting something from the [marketplace](https://www.crowdmuse.xyz/), or [proposing a drop](https://airtable.com/appH6A3pAGTMjzneZ/shrhbBb6r1opkECbX). Let's create magic together :)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://crowdmuse.gitbook.io/docs/creator-docs/how-to-create-a-profile.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
