Add USDC to your wallet

Now that you have your wallet, you just need to fund it. In this guide we will go through the simplest way to get USDC and ETH if you're buying a product NFT on Ethereum network, or USDC and MATIC on Polygon Mainnet.

**Note that in addition to adding USDC to your wallet, you will need ETH or MATIC to pay for gas, depending on which network the product is being sold on.**

First, open your wallet from the browser extension and click on the Buy button

You will be taken to the MetaMask portfolio page. Click on Get started and then choose your country and region when prompted

You will see different payment options depending on your region. Choose the one that is most convenient for you.

Then click on the ETH dropdown to change what token you want to buy.

You will see a search field for tokens. Depending on which network (Ethereum or Polygon) you're using to buy an NFT on the Crowdmuse marketplace, you will need ETH or MATIC to cover gas costs (transaction fee) and USDC to cover Product NFT costs.

The rest of this guide will show how to add USDC to your Polygon wallet, but the same steps apply when you want to add USDC to your Ethereum wallet.

Type in USDC and then make sure you select USDC on the Polygon network.

Then you need to connect your MetaMask

You might have to go back and enter USDC again in the search field.

Then enter the amount of USDC that you want to buy and click Get Quotes

You will be given a list of service providers relevant to your region. Select the best quote, enter your personal and credit card information, and you'll have your USDC in no time!

If you don't have any in your wallet, you will have to repeat this process and select MATIC when you choose which token.

Each transaction on Polygon only costs ~$0.04, so you won't need much.
